Over 40 days of international mens' cricket this summer, and the best was the very last. Just when you thought cricket was about analysing just how sorry someone looked at press conference, Tuesday reminded everyone it's all about white clothing, long shadows and tension. Not to mention the skipper inviting everyone back for beers in the shed. Class.
Counting down the overs on Tuesday evening was more torturous than attending a Michael Cheika lecture series - players battling manfully in roles they're not meant to play is one of the joys of the longest form. You can't meet more decent blokes than Ish and Neil - let's hope we get more chances to see them both play next summer.
