Steve Hansen still in NZR HQ trying to delete CV from work computer
BREAKING: The search for ‘Steve_CV.docx’ on former All Black coach Steve Hansen’s NZR-issued laptop means he’s still working from their Wellington headquarters.
“It’s on here,” said Hansen. “I had a couple of drafts, but then the world cup came along and things got pretty hectic. Once I’ve found it, I’ll be gone.”
Hansen confirmed to reporters that he’s copied ‘Steve_tactics.docx’, ‘Shag_contacts.xls’ and screenshots of his MineSweeper high scores to a 2016 Steinlager Series commemorative USB drive. The winner of the 2011 and 2015 world cups has used Windows Explorer to find the missing CV, and is now manually searching through his folders.
Surrounded by a box with photos of his family, a copy of the NZR annual report and three oversize cards signed by the All Blacks’ extended squad, Hansen has been right at home in the open plan environment.
“It’s been great having Steve in the office. He’s given everyone a nickname, and is really good at the Dom quiz,” said NZR Junior Product Manager Ash Lime-Scooter, who confirmed Hansen had contributed $8.70 to a leaving present for Sonny Bill Williams.
“Once I’ve got the CV, I’ll copy it over and maybe go through my emails. If that takes a while I might go for Floor Fire Warden, I saw a few things during the drill I wasn’t happy with,” said Hansen.

By putting its core product behind a paywall, rugby became a kind of luxury brand (albeit with mass reach), its premium product only available to those with the financial means to afford it. Worse, so that Sky could recoup its own investment, the best games were scheduled for an hour which advertisers found desirable – after the bedtime of many children. Thus the pipe of talent and interest which had sustained it for generations sprung a leak. No one really worried at the time, because the cost of this loss wouldn’t become due for decades, while the challenge it confronted was immediate and visceral.

“Women's sports and athletes offer some of the most desirable values any brand could be associated with - inspiring, progressive, family-orientated, inclusive, progressive and clear,” Sowden says.
“Marketers need to treat women’s sport like a start-up. It’s not a short-term game, it’s for the long-term - you’ve got to invest money to build the product and the audience, for the good of the wider women's sport ecosystem,” says Sowden.

The Capture is a Brit crime drama that deals with modern video surveillance paranoia, as well as shadowy figures controlling society paranoia. There are six parts (about my ideal number for a series), and it’s on TVNZ On Demand. I’m interested to know what you think of the ending.
